WHAT WE COLLECT AND HOW WE COLLECT AND USE (PERSONAL) INFORMATION

We use that information to operate our Website and Webshop and to analyze and improve Canntech’s offerings.

- the necessity of processing for compliance with a legal obligation, for instance tax regulations;
- in case there is a legitimate interest: for example, when the processing enables us to enhance, modify, personalize or otherwise improve our services to the benefit of the Website users. Or, to enhance the security of our services and determine if our marketing is effective;
- based upon your consent: for example, when you subscribe to our newsletters. Every form of data collection we perform based on your consent, can be withdrawn.

We may disclose your personal data to a third party if (a) this is necessary for the conclusion or performance of an agreement or contract concluded in your interest (b) we believe that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, (c) necessary to protect the security or integrity of the Website from harm or illegal activities; (d) necessary to respond to an emergency which we believe in good faith requires us to disclose information to assist in preventing the death or serious bodily injury of any person; or (e) to any other third party with your prior written consent.
Canntech may share your data with third parties that are support companies working on behalf, and on the instructions of, Canntech. With these parties, Canntech will conclude processor agreements (if necessary) under GDPR regulations with regard to the data processing that takes place within the EU and/or in relation to EU residence. Examples of these third party companies are email service providers that process the emails from customers, payment providers that process payments, shipping partners that ship our products to the customers, etc.
When you sell on our platform as a vendor, we store the contact details you enter in your sales account (the name of your company, the name of your company’s contact person, email address, your contact address (and any other addresses), payment details and your telephone number) as well as your Chamber of Commerce number and your VAT number.
When you place an order with one of our vendors, we provide them with the information necessary to fulfill the purchase order. As a shared processor of a customer’s data, the vendor receives your name, delivery address and billing information. If you request a VAT invoice from a business partner, the vendor receives your company name, business address, Chamber of Commerce number and order number.
